The functioning

The operation of the Occasion & Artisanal Universe is very simple. It allows you to buy items that people have previously listed for a fixed price.
UniversMini is the intermediary between the buyer and the seller. All transactions are therefore secure.

Progress of a transaction:

1 / A member sells one or more items (the seller)
He describes each item in the most precise way, adds photos and fixes its selling price.

2 / Another member buys one of these items (the buyer)
He adds the item to his basket, chooses his delivery address and pays for his order (by credit card, Paypal or with his account UniversMini)

3 / Decision of the seller
The seller has 3 days to accept or decline the sale. If he accepts, he must send the item quickly (within 7 days maximum). The buyer is then debited the amount of the order. If he refuses or does not decide within the time limit, the order is cancelled. The buyer is then not debited.

4/ The buyer receives his order
He goes to the site to confirm receipt and rate the seller. If he does not do so within 15 days having followed the seller's acceptance, the confirmation will be done automatically. The seller receives the money from his sale minus our commission only then.

Example of a typical transaction:

1/ On Monday, a buyer found a tractor that interested him. The seller set the price of his item at 20.00 euros + 7.00 euros shipping costs. The buyer will therefore validate his order and pay the 27.00 euros. The seller is immediately alerted by email.

2/ Still on Monday, the seller accepts the order. He can now view the buyer's contact details and send him the item. At the same time, the buyer is debited for his 27.00 euros.

3 / On Tuesday, the seller prepares the package and ships it to the buyer.

4 / On Thursday, the buyer receives his tractor. All he has to do is confirm receipt and then rate the seller.

5 / On Friday morning, the seller receives the money for his sale, i.e. 25.10 euros (20.00 euros (the price of his item) - 1.90 euros * (our commission) + 7.00 euros (shipping costs)).

The buyer will therefore have received his tractor in less than 4 days.

Frequently asked Questions :

1/ I placed an order but the seller does not accept the sale?
If the seller has not accepted the sale within 3 days of your order, it is automatically cancelled. You will therefore not be charged for your purchase. The seller will be penalized because his response rate will drop.

2/ I placed an order but I haven't received anything?
A seller must send his items within 7 days maximum of his acceptance of sale. It may be that the buyer had a setback or simply postal slowness. If, however, you do not receive anything at the end 10 days you just need to alert the seller by placing your order in "Dispute". You will then have the possibility to contact the seller and UniversMini. A seller will never receive the money from his sale if the buyer does not confirm receipt of his order.

3 / I have a problem with an item received?
If you receive a defective item or one that does not match the description of your purchase, you have 15 days to place the order in dispute. You will then have the opportunity to contact the seller and UniversMini to find a solution.

4/ A seller accepted but another refused on the same order?
If you placed an order containing items from multiple sellers and one of them refused the order, you will only be charged for the amount of the items accepted. At the bottom of your order, a summary shows you the amounts that were credited back to you following a seller's refusal.

5 / I sold an item but the buyer does not confirm receipt?
If the buyer does not confirm receipt himself and no dispute is open, you will receive your winnings 15 days after accepting the sale.

6/ What are the different delivery methods?
For France, we offer 3 delivery methods, find all the information by here.
For other countries and depending on the choice of the seller, up to 3 carriers can be offered to you.
